Lots happening. Opportunities at my “day job” is giving more capital to put towards my real career, so that’s helping to stoke the fires. The holidays were enjoyable but still wore me down, and picking up this year’s annual crud cold didn’t help. Fortunately, Florida currently feels like Springtime which is also contributing to dispelling the winter blahs that the rest of the country is buried in.
Kindling Moon’s first release is nearing completion, which I intend to be the hallmark of the project; a completely playable self-contained pen-and-paper roleplaying game that can be added to or simply used as a guide for the books I am also penning for the property. What’s the point of creating worlds if there’s no one to share them with?
And the awards season for MovieCrypt.com is almost over, part of the OFCS.org feeder for the Oscar(tm) nominations that helps voters determine where to place their love. Unlike recent years, however, there’s no clear-cut winner, so whatever is last fondly remembered is probably going to steal the votes. The upcoming awards shows (for those of us who like to watch drunken celebrities try to look sober delivering an acceptance speech) should be surprises a’plenty.
Looks like more time for gaming, less for watching movies…!
