Kevin A. Ranson

Creator, Writer, Illustrator, Webmaster, Critic
Author of the Spooky Chronicles (SpookyChronicles.com) and “ghost writer” for MovieCrypt.com.

“It is ever the creator’s lament that no one is better suited to market the worth of one’s creations than oneself; worse is the sacrifice of time needed in doing so that leaves everything else uncreated.”

Kevin A. Ranson is the creator of MovieCrypt.com as well as the “ghost writer” for the site’s host, Grim D. Reaper. He is a member of the Online Film Critics Society and has film reviews appear weekly on RottenTomatoes.com. With numerous credits in the role-playing game industry, he has published several stories in his young adult paranormal mystery series called “The Spooky Chronicles” (SpookyChronicles.com) in addition to working on a novel for his “Kindling Moon” fantasy setting. Kevin’s current creations and personal blog are always visible on ThinkingSkull.com.

Possessing considerable knowledge in genre film and television, Kevin has become a frequent panel guest for popular arts and film conventions with his “Ultimate Occult Showdown” (an impromptu game-show panel where the audience participates and there are no prizes), a “State of the Genre” address, plus other genre discussions about vampires, zombies, and monsters.
